Marfa Mystery Lights – A Concert for the UFO’s. In February 2006, Charles de Meaux created a performance in Marfa, Donald Judd’s city and the place of mystery lights: a single performance with the Texas psychedelic rock band, The Secret Machines, took place at the Chinati Foundation.

This film is a confidential notebook on this experience, lived in the shadow of some of the “Giants” of American culture. A “close encounter of the third kind” which speaks volume about our contemporary culture’s own contradictions. The film documents the process of this unique performance, and is the sole proof and trace of its existence.
